BABYWISE SA — SHOPPING POLICY
1. ORDERING
All orders placed on Babywise SA (babywisesa.co.za) constitute a legally binding purchase agreement between you and Babywise SA. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that all information provided is accurate and complete.
Once your order is placed, you will receive an automated confirmation email with your order number and details. Please retain this for your records.
2. PRICING & PAYMENT
All prices displayed on our website are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice, but any change will not affect an order that has already been confirmed.
We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit and debit card (Visa, Mastercard)
- EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)
- SnapScan
- PayFast secure checkout
Babywise SA will never request payment via unofficial channels, WhatsApp banking links, or cash deposits.
3. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
We deliver nationwide across South Africa.

Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size. Free delivery applies to orders over R500.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email or SMS. Babywise SA is not liable for delays caused by courier services, weather, or circumstances beyond our control. However, we will always assist you in resolving any delivery issues.
Please note: delivery timeframes are estimates and not guarantees.
4. RETURNS & REFUNDS
Defective or Poor Quality Goods
If your item is defective, unsafe, or of poor quality, you have up to 6 months from the date of delivery to return it to us. At your choice, we will repair, replace, or refund the full purchase price. Temu
To qualify, the following conditions must be met: the issue must be reported within a reasonable timeframe (usually 10 business days of discovering the defect), proof of purchase must be provided, and the goods must be returned with any required documentation. Temu
Incorrect or Uninspected Goods
If you have not had the opportunity to examine or inspect the actual goods before purchase, you are entitled to inspect them on delivery. If the goods do not match what was advertised or ordered, you may refuse delivery and receive a full refund. Temu
Change of Mind
Please note that there is no general right of return in South Africa — a consumer cannot simply return a product because they had a change of heart. Outside of the 5-day cooling-off period, we are not legally obligated to accept returns based on a change of mind. However, we will consider such requests on a case-by-case basis in the interest of good customer service. Temu
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Personalised or custom-made products (e.g. engraved tableware sets) unless defective
- Items that have been used, damaged, or altered by the customer
- Items returned without original packaging
How to Initiate a Return
- Email hello@babywisesa.co.za with your order number and reason for return
- Attach a clear photo of the item and any visible defects
- Our team will respond within 2 business days with return instructions
- Once received and assessed, your refund or replacement will be processed within 5 business days
You have the right to choose your preferred refund method and cannot be compelled to accept a store credit or voucher if you prefer a cash refund. Temu
6. PERSONALISED PRODUCTS
For personalised items such as our toddler tableware sets, please double-check all name spelling and customisation details before completing your order. Babywise SA cannot be held responsible for errors in personalisation details submitted by the customer. Personalised items are non-refundable unless they arrive defective or damaged.
7. STOCK AVAILABILITY
We will not accept payment for goods we are unable to supply. In the event that an item is out of stock after payment has been received, we will notify you immediately and process a full refund including any applicable interest.
8. PRIVACY & DATA
Your personal information is collected solely for the purpose of processing and delivering your order. We do not sell, share, or distribute your data to third parties, in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
